Privacy Policy

Mintana ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that lets users launch memecoins on Solana and BNB Chain directly from Twitter and Discord. This policy explains what data the Extension collects, why, and how it is handled.

1. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored exclusively in Chrome's synced extension storage (chrome.storage.sync) on your device and synced across your own Chrome profile. It is never transmitted to Mintana servers:

• Wallet private key
• RPC URL preferences (Solana and BNB)
• Jito RPC URL preference
• Auto-sell settings (enabled/disabled, delay)
• Developer buy amount

2. Data Sent to External Services

When you use the Extension to create or sell a token, certain data is transmitted to third-party services as described below:

• Mintana fee worker: Your transaction SOL/BNB amount is sent to calculate the developer service fee, and your wallet address is used to determine the fee recipient. No data is stored by this service beyond what is required to process the request.
• IPFS / pump.fun metadata API: Token metadata (name, symbol, description, image) is uploaded to IPFS to create an on-chain token. This data becomes permanently public on the blockchain.
• Jito block engine: Signed transactions are submitted to the Jito block engine for faster inclusion. Jito receives only the signed transaction data.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect, store, or log your private key on any server.
• We do not track browsing history, page content, or any activity outside of the extension popup interaction.
• We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting.

4. Blockchain Data

Transactions submitted through the Extension are recorded permanently and publicly on the Solana or BNB blockchains. This includes your wallet address, token details, and transaction amounts. This is inherent to how public blockchains work and is not within our control.

5. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Extension evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
